Using “ Too ” and “ Enough ”

♦Too ♦
‘Too’ used to indicate that something is more or less than necessary.
👉 It always has a negative meaning.
👉 Too means more than what is needed.
⚫ ‘Too’ goes before adjective and Adverb.
[Too + adj/adv]
1. This exam is too hard.
2. He drives too fast.
[Too + adj / adv + infinitive]
1. This exam is too hard to pass.
2. That box is too heavy to carry.
[ Too + adj/adv + ( for someone) + inf ]
1. That box is too heavy for me to carry.
2. This exam is too hard for me to pass.
[Too + many + plural noun]
1. There are too many people in this party.
2. We have too many questions to solve.
[Too + much + uncountable noun]
1. We have too much work to do.
2. There is too much noise.
♦ Enough ♦
‘Enough’ used to indicate that something is as much or as many as needed; so, unless we use it with a negative structure, it has a positive meaning.
👉Enough means sufficient.
⚫ ‘ Enough goes after Adjective and Adverb.
[Adj/ adv + enough]
1. My car is luxurious enough.
2. My wife is beautiful enough.
[Adj/ adv + enough + infinitive]
1. We are wealthy enough to buy that car.
2. He runs fast enough to catch me.
[ Adj/Adv + enough+ (for someone) + inf ]
1. This sheep is light enough for me to carry.
2. The coffee is hot enough for me to drink.

[Enough + noun(pl) ]
1. I have got enough bananas.
2. I do not have enough money.
[ Enough + noun + inf ]
1. There are enough people to help me.
2. We have enough money to buy a car.
And also,
[Enough + uncountable noun]
1. I have enough money.
2. There is enough milk in the fridge.
[Enough + infinitive]
1. When she lost her dog, it was enough to make her cry.
